Gary CohenSenior Vice President, Marketing Playtex Products Gary is currently Sr. VP Marketing/CMO for Playtex Products in Westport, CT. He is responsible for building brands such as Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic,, Wet Ones, Playtex Baby, was well as the Playtex FemCare product lines. In addition to Brand Marketing, Gary is responsible for Category Management, Marketing Research, and Corporate Design and Communications. Prior to joining to Playtex in November, 2006, Gary was Global Vice President/GM of Oral-B, a nearly $2B business within P&G’s Oral Care Unit, Gary worked at The Gillette Company for over 18 years in a variety of Brand Marketing positions and was part of the Oral-B Management team that nearly doubled the size of the Oral-B brand globally in 5 years. Gary marketed several product categories to both men and women at Gillette including Blades & Razors, Deodorants, and Toiletries products. He launched several new products globally and also developed several worldwide advertising campaigns. Gary was instrumental in the highly successful US launch of Mach3. He also has managed several new Marketing initiatives at Gillette including Direct Marketing and Sampling. Gary has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Gary, his wife, and four daughters will be moving the Westport this summer.
