Kristi Barrow joined Expedia Australia in July 2006 in a role which combines both her marketing experience and her passion for technology and travel.

Expedia is the world's largest online travel company and has been in operation since 1996. Launched in the Australian market in December 2005, the site offers Australian travellers the ability to research, book and pay for travel online, and provides a wide selection of holiday packages, flights, hotels, car hire and attractions.

At Expedia, Kristi is responsible for all aspects of marketing, PR and sponsorship, including securing Expedia’s high profile “Premier Partner” sponsorship of the Sydney Swans FC, and the subsequent launch of Australia’s first ever sports-dedicated travel micro site on the Sydney Swans’ website.

Prior to joining Expedia Australia, Kristi held various marketing roles at Optus, where she received the Optus Business Hero Award in 2003, the highest non-sales staff award for the Optus Business Division.

Kristi is an experienced traveller, and will have visited over seven international destinations in 2007 alone, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Paris, London and Hong Kong. With an Estonian family heritage, her favourite place to visit is Tallinn, a UNESCO World Heritage site, due to its incredible historic architecture.

She holds an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of New South Wales) and is a Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) of the Australian Marketing Institute.
