As the Director of Marketing for Asia and Japan, Brian overseas the planning, organization and execution of an integrated marketing plan, covering demand generation, customer acquisition and retention, channel marketing, customer care and corporate communications.

Brian joins Lawson Software from Hitachi Data Systems, one of the leading global storage solution vendors, where he led its channel marketing initiative for Asia Pacific. In Hitachi, Brian was focused on developing and driving partner marketing programs aimed at the SMB market. In this capacity, Brian worked very closely with channel sales teams, channel partners and key alliances. During his tenure, he had contributed significantly to the growth and strong momentum of Hitachi’s channel business.

Brian has more than 10 years’ experience in enterprise software marketing and has also held a number of marketing management roles at SAP Asia Pacific, Mercury Interactive and IBM Asia South.

Brian graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree majoring in Marketing. He also studied in the University of Victoria, B.C., Canada as part of his degree.
