Jana Hanci

Hanci has had a diversified career in fashion, accounting, information technology, publishing, CRM, education, and consulting. She is co-founder and CEO of Shanghai-based LaunchStyles, Inc., a leader in Go-to-Market Outsourcing (GoMo) focused on "Turning Passion into Performance" in the dynamic and rapidly evolving global fashion industry. LaunchStyles represents more than 50 international apparel, footwear and accessory designers, branded apparel companies and major retail labels. It centers its value proposition around Inspiring Design, Assuring Delivery by handling all aspects of trend tracking, fashion forecasting, design innovation, branding, global sourcing, supply chain management, manufacturing, product portfolio and lifecycle management, pricing, distribution, sales, eCommerce, marketing, demand generation, as well as customer care and trade relations.

Prior to joining LaunchStyles, Hanci was CEO of Amy Jo Gladstone, a vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of high-end slippers and comfortable footwear that have become a style-statement among many celebrities. A trained accountant, Hanci started her career at Ziff-Davis, Inc. and then moved to executive director of the Help Desk Institute, where she headed membership, operations, sales, marketing, and customer service for this division of ZD Education. She was responsible for setting up international partnerships in Europe, the UK, Australia, South America and Asia and was part of the transition team following Softbank’s acquisition of ZD. While at the HDI, Hanci started a trade magazine SupportWorld and served as editor-in-chief of Customer Service Management magazine.

A graduate of the University of Colorado with both an MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Hanci has also attended Stanford University and the University of Alaska. Most recently, she was on the faculty of University of Phoenix in Nashville and Franklin, TN, where she taught accounting, information technology accounting, as well as finance and strategic decision making for financial and accounting executives. Hanci has also served as a management consultant for major multi-nationals such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Hershey, Amgen, KPMG, Abbott Laboratories, AIG, Caterpillar, Choice Hotels, Genzyme, GSK, John Deere, Peregrine (now HP), Raytheon, T-Mobile, Unisys, WincorNixdorf, and ChrysCapital. She is certified in Quest, a global sales strategy tool and Insights Discovery and has coached senior executives and managers in many areas of personal and professional development.
