Jim Simon is the director of marketing for Quantum’s Asia-Pacific region. He is responsible for the development and strategic management of end user and channel marketing initiatives across the region. Prior to joining Asia-Pacific, Simon was responsible for channel marketing through North American distributors, value added resellers and catalog companies. In addition to overseeing channel marketing, Simon has been strategic in the development of global e-marketing programs. Simon is in his tenth year with Quantum.

Prior to joining Quantum, Simon served as product manager for the professional products division at Iomega Corp., where he was part of the original team responsible for launching the Jaz™, Buz™, and the Jaz accessories businesses. Simon also served as the product and sales planner for Canon Business Machines, where he was responsible for the launch of the StarWriter Jet 4000 and co-produced promotions – leading to number one market share in inkjet word processors.

Simon holds a Master of Business Administration from California State University, San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Arizona.
