Steven Tan is the Regional Marketing Director for Asia Pacific and Middle East at Aspect Software. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of product planning, and corporate and product marketing.

Based in Singapore, Steven oversees strategic marketing activities to develop and maintain customer and partner programs in the region. He leads and manages Aspect’s regional marketing strategy, driving market awareness of the brand, and growing the company’s revenue and market share through demand generation programs. Additionally, his portfolio also includes forging and maintaining media and analyst relations.

Steven draws on his 16 years of experience in overseeing marketing and communications across-the-board, from channels marketing management to product marketing and media relations. Prior to joining Aspect Software, he was the Director of Field Marketing, Asia Pacific and Japan at Compuware Corporation.

Previously, Steven has held senior marketing positions at IBM Software Group, Lucent Technologies and HP.

Tan holds a Masters of Business Administration degree and a Graduate Diploma from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, United Kingdom. He also has a Bachelors of Business Administration (Hons) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Texas, United States.

Tan is effectively multilingual. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese and is also able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.
