Tim Bailey is the Director of Marketing & Consumer Sales for Intel’s Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for all aspects of brand and promotions marketing strategy and execution across the region as well as leading the Consumer Sales Group. His strong marketing and sales background enables him to provide both a worldwide perspective of the PC industry and a local knowledge of Asia Pacific market requirements.

Mr. Bailey joined Intel in 1995, and has held several sales and marketing positions in both the United States and Asia Pacific. Most recently, he was Director of Platform Marketing for Intel Asia Pacific responsible for the Intel Architecture desktop, mobile, and server product lines across 14 countries in the region. Prior to this, he was the Regional Marketing Manager for desktop and mobile platforms for Intel Asia Pacific. Previously, he was a marketing manager for the Mobile Platforms Group and was responsible for managing the division’s relationships with Intel’s worldwide OEM and ODM customer base. He received an Intel Achievement Award for his role in the development and execution of the Intel® Centrino® Mobile Technology launch.

Mr. Bailey was also the technical assistant to then Senior Vice President of Microprocessor Products Group Albert Yu and worked to ensure that Dr. Yu’s internal and external activities helped drive Intel’s microprocessor roadmap and further developed Intel’s technology leadership position. Mr. Bailey began his Intel career in Intel’s desktop motherboard operation where he was responsible for business activities in Asia Pacific and Japan.
