Jim Cassidy is the Vice President Marketing of BEA Systems EMEA.  BEA Systems, Inc. is a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software, delivering powerful standards-based platforms for building enterprise applications and managing Service-Oriented Architectures.

Cassidy leads the company's EMEA field marketing group including: go-to-market strategy, programs, industry solutions, product and customer marketing.  In addition he has responsibilities for PR and AR communications

With more than 25 years experience in senior marketing roles, Cassidy has a proven track record of operating successfully in diverse markets and cultures internationally and growing revenues by delivering customer value. His career includes leadership positions at IBM, J Walter Thompson, News Corporation and Douwe Egberts.

At IBM, he was Director of Marketing for IBM Asia Pacific Software Group based in Tokyo.  As Senior Vice President at J Walter Thompson  Direct, he had full line responsibility for the development of integrated marketing offerings within the Ford Automotive business unit in Detroit and latterly Mazda in Frankfurt. Prior to this he was General Manager JWT Direct in Australia.  At News Corporation he was Marketing Director of a number of companies within commercial print and distribution across Australia. He also spent nearly ten years at Douwe Egberts (a division of Sara Lee) in various sales and marketing roles.
