Mark N. Clemente, an internationally recognized management consultant, author and expert in strategic marketing and communications. He has written four books and dozens of journal articles on marketing, organization development and corporate growth.
 
Prior to joining GlobalFluency, Clemente served in senior management and consulting positions with such firms as Ogilvy & Mather, Coopers & Lybrand, Alexander & Alexander, and Howard J. Rubenstein Associates. He also served as the principal of Clemente, Greenspan & Co., Inc. – a consultancy specializing in providing internal and external communication services to support strategic mergers and acquisitions, alliances and joint-ventures.

Clemente has managed large-scale communication programs for clients in technology, healthcare, media and information, as well as professional services. His clients have included Novartis, IBM, Aon Consulting, CMP Media, Aventis, MaynePharma, Forbes Special Publishing, Covance, Faulding Pharmaceuticals, Computer Sciences Corp., and Deloitte & Touche. He has also served as a trainer and personal coach to senior executives on leadership, business communications, and selling skills.
Clemente’s management writings have been translated into foreign languages throughout Europe and Asia. He is the author of the international best-seller, Winning at Mergers & Acquisitions: The Guide to Market-Focused Planning and Integration (John Wiley & Sons), which was the first book to address the marketing and communication imperatives for effective M&A planning. Winning at Mergers & Acquisitions was recently translated and published in the People’s Republic of China. Clemente is also the author of The Marketing Glossary: Key Terms, Concepts and Applications (American Management Association) – an encyclopedic dictionary that is used as a required text in universities worldwide. Clemente is a regular editorial contributor to prominent business journals and has written a monthly column for smartpros.com – a leading e-newsletter for professional service providers.

Clemente has served as a frequent speaker and workshop leader for such professional and academic groups as the International School of Management, Association for Corporate Growth, Cornell University Law School, the Strategic Research Institute and the American Management Association. He has been quoted widely in such publications as The New York Times, Harvard Management Update, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Barron's, Human Resource Executive, and Executive Leadership.

Clemente holds a master’s degree in strategic communication and leadership.
