Chief Marketing Executives from Regional Companies and Multi-Nationals to Lead New Initiatives Aimed at Raising Marketing Standards and Advancing Regional Knowledge
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council – a global group of 5,000 senior executives controlling more than $125 billion in marketing spend – is expanding its reach and presence in the Middle East and North Africa with a new advisory board and assessment of marketing credibility and effectiveness in the region. The geography includes more than 20 Arab-speaking countries and some 200 different nationalities across diverse countries, cultures and population groups. Read More »

CMO Council Appoints Advisory Board Chairman in the Middle East
Newly formed Middle East Advisory Board will convene in Dubai on October 12 to kick off CMO Summit Middle East.
The CMO Council is pleased to announce Mohammed Al-Tajer as Chairman of the CMO Council's newly formed Middle East Advisory Board. Mohammed is the Head of Marketing for Middle East & Africa for Citibank, and has been leading the marketing and business development functions at Citi for the region for the last three years. Mohammed's role as Chairman will support and guide the CMO Council through its chapter development in MENA and will be the voice of the Council in that region. The CMO Council will shortly announce the rest of the Middle East Advisory Board, which will further supplement the 185 other Advisory Board members in North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Latin America...
