Global Business Leadership Authority and Author David Taylor to Debut Definitive Blueprint for Successful Organisations at CMO Council Summit
Keynote Address Will Provide Senior Marketers With Specific Actions for Driving Growth and Brand Awareness in the 21st Century

LONDON (9th October 2006) – David Taylor, author of the best selling book "Naked Leader" and recognised global authority on leadership, will give an exclusive keynote to the annual gathering of Europe's leading marketing executives at the second annual CMO Council European Summit, "Mixing, Merging & Multiplying: Managing European Market Dynamics," being held at the new Tower Hilton Hotel on November 16th in London.

The CMO Council's European Summit, sponsored by AT&T, Symantec, GMI and CMP Technology, is one of the premier thought leadership and networking events, an organisation of more than 2,600 marketing decision makers worldwide. Members control more than euro 50 billion in annual marketing and media expenditures, and represent most of the major global brands.

Two years ago, David Taylor was challenged to produce the definitive blueprint of an outstanding organisation in the 21st century. Working with leading chief executives, business schools and global entrepreneurs, he has now mapped out what successful organisations do on a consistent, repeatable and sustainable basis, and how they are structured to achieve it.

Taylor will debut his findings during his keynote, entitled "How to be a Truly Authentic Organisation in the 21st Century," at the European Summit. Taylor will reveal the four pillars for such organisations, the makeup of their leadership teams, and the exact actions that marketing leaders can take to make it happen.

"Marketing executives are at the very heart of making it happen, so I am delighted to be sharing these findings at this year's Summit and to be collaborating with the CMO Council," said Taylor. "As a result of this presentation, my objective is to offer each delegate at least three specific actions that will help them and their organisation achieve greater affinity with their customers."

Ian McCann, CMO Council director, EMEA, said: "This year we explore the real issues shaping the European market. Thus, we are delighted to have David speaking, especially given the relevance of his findings to the opportunity and challenges our members face in the new landscape of Europe."

Other keynote speakers and interactive panelists include: Gabi Zedlmayer, VP corporate marketing, EMEA, of Hewlett-Packard; Lucas Covers, EVP & CMO of Philips Consumer Electronics; Nick Barley, business and marketing officer for Microsoft Ltd; and many more. More than 100 delegates will participate in the full day's interactive programme, followed by an exclusive champagne reception and gala dinner aboard the illustrious HMS Belfast.
