Influential Peer-Powered Global Network of Senior Marketers Announces New Partnership to Support Fast Growth in Europe

LONDON (11th Juner 2006) –The CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Council and its management entity, GlobalFluency, Inc., has announced a new strategic partnership in Europe with Matchcode EMEA, which will operate and manage the CMO Council Europe, including new member outreach, program development and implementation, and CMO Council events including the annual CMO Council Europe Summit.  The CMO Council Europe, originally established in 2005, currently boasts membership of over 1,000 senior level marketing executives from across the Continent, with the primary concentration of members in Great Britain. The strategic partnership with Matchcode will help drive the organisation’s continued growth and expansion throughout Europe and secure its position as the world’s leading executive network for senior marketing executives.  The partnership took effect May 1, 2007.

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council (www.cmocouncil.org) is dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange, thought leadership and personal relationship building among senior marketing and brand decision-makers across a wide-range of global industries. The CMO Council's 3,000 members control more than $70 billion in aggregated annual marketing expenditures, with a combined annual revenue of over $600 billion. CMO Council Drive Expansion in Europe

Under the new structure Stuttgart, Germany based Matchcode EMEA will manage the operations of the CMO Council Europe, with Matchcode Managing Director, Michael Bueckle, serving as CMO Council Senior Director Europe. Bueckle, a former CMO, and has 20 years experience including having served as Chief Marketing and Channels Officer at Hewlett-Packard where he was instrumental in building the HP Software business on a European and world-wide level. Bueckle joined Matchcode in 2006, quickly assuming leadership of the worldwide marketing service provider.

Development of new Dinner Dialogue Schedule:  To facilitate knowledge and best practices sharing and meaningful interaction among the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to consumer (B2C) marketing communities, CMO Council Europe has scheduled a series of dinner dialogue and other networking forums, designed to encourage meaningful dialogue around issues of compelling importance to marketers.
