Steven Schiller is Vice President, Marketing Excellence, The Hershey Company. In this position, Schiller is responsible for driving the quality of Hershey's global consumer marketing by providing leadership across a broad array of marketing center of excellence initiatives.

Schiller works closely with Hershey's brand teams to develop innovative brand programs that are aligned with corporate goals, drive growth and elevate all elements of the business plan. This includes developing world-class advertising creative, media plans, design, packaging, consumer promotions and product publicity. In addition, Schiller and his team are responsible for building new marketing capabilities and identifying opportunities for synergy and teaching best demonstrated practices around the globe.

Schiller joined Hershey in 2008 from the Steak 'n Shake Corporation, where he was Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he was responsible for leading all marketing activities for the 500-store, $650 million restaurant company. He also led the development and execution of short- and long-term turnaround strategies, developed consumer insight-driven strategic growth platforms, and crafted a long-term product innovation and menu evolution strategy. Prior to joining Steak 'n Shake, he held positions both domestically and internationally at The Coca-Cola Company and Colgate-Palmolive.

Schiller holds a bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
