Prior to founding Keller Fay, Keller was CEO of RoperASW. Keller is a past President of the Board of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), and currently serves as Treasurer. He is a board member of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), and of BazaarVoice, a technology provider that powers consumer generated content such as Ratings and Reviews. He is Past President of the Market Research Council, and a member of the Annenberg School's Alumni Advisory Board.

Keller is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned his MA in Communications from the Annenberg School for Communication.
