Gordon HoExecutive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (WDSHE) Gordon K. Ho is Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (WDSHE). In his role, he oversees worldwide marketing, product development, acquisitions, and business development for the division. Gordon has led the creation of campaigns that have put Disney product, front and center in homes around the globe. His key product successes include the landmark DVD release of "Finding Nemo," the number one selling DVD of all time, High School Musical, the #1 selling tv on DVD release and the Pirates of the Caribbean films, the top selling live-action DVD franchise. Ho was also pivotal in the introduction of Disney's acclaimed Platinum line of DVDs and the division's entry into the TV on DVD category with the successes of Alias, Lost, and the top selling Grey's Anatomy DVD box sets. Ho takes an active role in the development of new technologies including its Internet and mobile marketing efforts and most recently, its entry into the high definition space with Disney Blu-ray. He has also led WDSHE efforts behind key company franchises including Baby Einstein, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Hannah Montana, Disney Princess and the upcoming Disney Fairies release. Since joining Disney in 1992, Gordon has held roles at Disney Interactive, where he oversaw sales, operations and retail marketing and at WDSHE, within their marketing department. Prior to Disney, Gordon held positions at Hewlett Packard as a product manager and at Leo Burnett advertising, as an account executive for Procter & Gamble. Gordon holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. |
