Mohammed Al-Tajer is a P&L driven business transformer and marketing leader with global experience in Fortune 500 companies and a proven track record of getting results through leadership, innovation and empowerment. He possesses a unique blend of blue chip financial services & FMCG experience in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan. He is best known for transforming marketing from a “cost centre” to a "profit centre" and is passionate about developing great brands, superior customer value propositions, winning teams and lasting partnerships. Mohammed is currently Director of Business Development at Majid Al Futtaim Finance, driving the core business P&L by leading the sales, products, portfolio and marketing organization for the leading provider of credit card and prepaid card services in MENA. Prior to joining Majid Al Futtaim Finance, he served as Cluster Marketing Head for the Middle East & Africa at Citigroup where he led the marketing, alternate sales channels, business analytics, & business development functions in the region. With more than twenty years of global experience, Mohammed has led some of the world’s best brands including Citi, Lipton and Wrigley’s. His experience spans multiple sectors including financial services, fast moving consumer goods and airlines. He is a globe trotter and has spent part of his career working abroad in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany and the Gulf countries. He is passionate about people development and a member of several non-profit organizations including:

Mohammed is also known for setting up best practices globally and trying to make the world a better place through sales & marketing. He is a keynote speaker in major forums across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He was recognized as one of the "50 Most Talented CMOs" at The World Marketing Summit in 2013 and was honored with the “Brand Super Achiever Award” by the CMO Asia Awards in 2010.
