General Manager Operations, MENA Region
Ahmad became MTN’s General Manager Operations for the MENA region in 2006. He is also a board member in several MTN subsidiaries. His responsibilities include: analysis of main market KPIs and competitor positioning, driving sales and marketing value proposition revamp initiatives, supervising annual network expansion and vendor negotiation, and participation in the business plan and annual budget revision for MTN’s various operations. He is in charge of driving all the regional initiatives including review of strategy and implementation and consolidation of strategic initiatives. Ahmad has 14 years of experience in the mobile telecommunications space, helping him cultivate his technical experience, project management and team building skills.
