Alexander Leibner joined CNBC Africa in June 2007 and is responsible for all marketing and communications activities for CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa and Africa Business News [ABN] for South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria including strategy, policy and creative. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to, media exchanges, media planning, art directing, copywriting, strategy, distribution, managing marketing team, events, programming input, research and ROI analysis. Alexander’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Communication in Business majoring in Marketing and Advertising from Bond University. He also holds a qualification in Marketing and Branding in Global Markets and a Post Graduate in Business Administration from The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He started his media career in 2001 having worked in print, radio, online and television both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.
