Marketers characterize elements of fully functioning, data-driven omni-channel experience in their industry sector

Omni-channel optimization is imperative to the success of marketers, with the top two characteristics highlighted by brand marketers being fully integrated channels and higher levels of customer conversion and retention (46 percent and 43 percent of survey respondents, respectively). Brands place strong emphasis on customer experience, with 43 percent of brand marketers ranking individualized interactions and deeper knowledge of the customer journey as a top priority and another 43 percent pointing to continuous learning and leveraging of customer behavior and preference. Nearly half of brand marketers (43 percent) looking to rise above the competition know that a streamlined, personalized experience across both physical and digital touch points will be integral to success.
