CMO Council membership is open to senior corporate marketing decision makers only. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend membership to consultants, independent contractors or senior marketers with marketing, advertising or communications agencies. Members should have at least 15 years of marketing experience and have held executive management positions at new venture, emerging growth or established enterprise organizations. CMO Council members now also include senior executives from analytics, digital, data, revenue and customer experience titles. Nominees must have demonstrated marketing prowess, a proven track record of accomplishment, and leadership in evangelizing marketing and branding practices.

The CMO Council offers multiple levels of membership, from a general CMO Council membership to corporate memberships for large marketing organizations. These tiered membership levels are based on individual needs, corporate content sharing requirements, and affiliate or library interest.
General CMO Council Membership is complimentary and by nomination, invitation or referral only. Membership is limited to senior executive marketers currently serving in companies, institutions, public agencies or non-profit organizations.
Premium CMO Council Premium Membership (CMO+) is an upgrade available for CMO Council members only and provides members with unlimited access to all content, including fee-based full reports, data and detailed findings. Premium members also have access to the exclusive CMO+ section of this website, allowing members to create robust profiles, share content, best practices and ideas while connecting with other members to ask for advice, mentorship and recommendations.
For those organizations looking to enhance their marketing team’s knowledge and understanding of marketing, a Corporate Library Subscription provides total access to over 15 years of thought leadership and knowledge. The CMO Council offers two library subscription offers to meet the needs of both individual users and large corporate environments.
This subscription is ideal for global companies who would like their entire marketing teams to have full access to CMO Council content including CMO Council data archives and reports dating to the launch of the CMO Council in 2001. While this does not grant CMO Council membership to each corporate subscriber, it will open the full CMO Council library of nearly 400 reports, papers and studies to corporate users.
