Nicolas started his corporate career after finishing his Masters in Microbiology and Immunology working in the commercial area of ​​a distributor of molecular biology products. Months later he was invited to work at (then) Life Technologies, later acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific. In the following 2 years, he went through successive portfolio extensions – the result of incorporations, notably the new generation Sequencing line – and territory. During this period he was able to meet and interact with icons and great institutions of Brazilian science. Concomitantly with the completion of my MBA, he planned the migration to the Marketing team. He became Market Development Manager (a position recognized in the industry as a product manager) in the Genetic Sciences division for Latin America. Nicolas was able to develop his understanding of market strategy in the region, pricing, portfolio management, competition monitoring, events, as well as communication and promotion actions in general. At the end of 2021, he took on the current role of CMO for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Latin America. Over the past few years, he has completed a postgraduate degree in marketing at ESPM and courses in Branding, Financial Management, Leadership and Precision Medicine, respectively at the London Business School, INSPER, Copenhagen Business School and the University of Geneva.
