April 13, 2011
Trump Soho - New York, NY

On April 13, The Internationalist is organizing a one-day summit in New York for 100 marketing leaders at New York's Trump Soho. Called THE INTERNATIONALIST 100, its theme is: 100 LEADERS | 100 IDEAS | 100 POWER BRANDS - Reinventing Marketing Leadership amid Global Complexity. This client-focused, thought-leadership event will offer ideas to meet the increased responsibilities of 21st century marketers in a more accountable, real-time world. This annual gathering will enable marketers to connect, share challenges and listen to fresh perspectives in the right-sized setting among peers. The goal of The Internationalist is to provide enough ideas in a day to fuel everyone's thinking for the next 6 months in our ever-changing marketing, advertising and media environment.

CMO Council Executive Director Donovan Neale-May will be moderating a panel at the summit titled Driving Innovation Through Marketing + Technology Integration. The session will cover how today's marketers are challenged more than ever to be on top on their game when it comes to embracing digital channels, technologies and devices for competitive advantage. This can be done to more effectively engage, transact, acquire, retain, monetize and support their markets. With customer experience frequently dependent on the level of personalized interaction, content relevance and timely response, marketers have to be more adept at teaming with IT groups and to innovate and improve web sites, call centers, social media, mobile touch and point-of-sale or service transactions. Often brands can stand out and differentiate themselves by enhancing the conversion process, purchase cycle, delivery and use of products and services by enabling technology solutions.
