Asma worked at the intersection of strategy, customer experience and technology to help companies become players in an AI-powered economy. As a digital strategy consultant, Asma helps companies, governments, and social institutes futureproof their missions by transforming their business models with the adoption of exponential technologies. In a previous role as a Marketing Leader for IBM’s Watson Internet of Things and AI solutions, Asma established herself as a thought leader, speaking at numerous public forums on AI and IoT. Before IBM, Asma was involved in public policy, behavioral change, brand, marketing and political campaigns. Asma is a Fulbright Scholar, the most prestigious and competitive fellowships in the world, and pursued a Master’s in Public Relations from the University of Southern California, USA in 2010. She was also awarded the Siemens Scholarship in 2004 to pursue a Masters and Bachelors in Business at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Pakistan. Some of her other recognitions include being awarded the Regional Eminence & Excellence Award in Innovation by IBM Global Business Services 2020 for her contribution on Digital Business Strategy Offerings, being featured by The BrandBerries as a Woman to Watch: Rule Breakers edition 2019 for driving thought leadership on how AI and IoT will impact Customer Experience. She was also awarded second place by the Women in Marketing UK as the Inspiration Leader in the Field of Customer Experience. She is recognized as IBM Big Thinkers.
