Mehdi Moutaoukil is the Chief Digital & Marketing Officer of L’Oréal Middle East. He comes with 15 years of marketing experience in the personal care, beauty and telecommunications industry. As the CMO, Mehdi leads all aspects of L’Oréal’s marketing efforts in the GCC, across its 25 beauty brands, including business strategy, digital, e-commerce, market intelligence and consumer insights. Mehdi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his previous role as the Head of Marketing and Sales Director at Beiersdorf Middle East and North Africa, as well as his role as Senior Marketing Manager at French multinational telecommunications corporation, Orange. He has served in a number of marketing and sales roles throughout his career, where he successfully launched several award-winning communications campaigns and digital platforms. From 2014 to 2019, he played an instrumental role in transforming the Beiersdorf business and delivering double digital growth in key markets of Africa and Middle East region, through driving trade & marketing strategies focusing on innovation, digital, e-commerce and people. Mehdi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IAE de Toulon France and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from ENCG Tanger. He has lived and worked in several countries in Europe and the Middle East region including France, Morocco and the UAE.
