Katleho has over 18 years of experience in a variety of commercial strategy, sales, category development, and marketing roles covering fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail and telecommunications. Before joining FirstRand Group, Katleho held the Executive Head of Division: High Value/Postpaid Segment Marketing at Vodacom, where he launched multiple value propositions for Home, Family, Postpaid, and Content Services - yielding sustained double-digit growth, NPS gains, and higher retentions in his portfolio. Katleho has fulfilled various other high-profile roles before joining Vodacom in 2017, notably leading portfolio expansion and establishing category and shopper marketing planning as a core competitive advantage at The Coca-Cola Company in his role as Head of Commercial Planning. He also worked at other leading companies, such as SABMiller and Nestle SA, where he significantly contributed to business growth and market innovation. ‘This pivot into banking further supports my purpose and desire to deliberately enable broader economic participation and create much-needed employment through social innovation, best practice sharing, and creating ease of access to growth enabling financial services for both small and large businesses.
