Abdulla Mahmood is an award-winning marketing professional with over 16 years of international experience in strategic marketing, corporate communications, digital marketing, strategic brand alliances, and global business development.
Abdulla is currently the Director of Marketing and International Business Development at Al Ahli Holding Group and has been developing the group’s overall marketing and business development strategy across different continents. He is tasked with covering varied business segments which include construction, manufacturing, real estate, retail, hospitality, lifestyle, live events, and entertainment.
Abdulla is amongst Asia’s top 200 influential CMOs and received the Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence Award at Dubai’s Asian Leadership Awards, where he was acknowledged to lead the first ever Arab-based company to strike an unprecedented 5-film strategic brand alliance with Marvel- Disney and unveil its products at Marvel’s world premieres.
In his previous role as a General Manager of MARCOM at RAK Ceramics, Abdulla was awarded the Marketing Professional of 2013 and Corporate Communication Professional of 2012 at CMO Asia Awards in Singapore for his innovative branding and strategic marketing activities which enhanced RAK Ceramics’ global brand image and led to organization winning a series of laurels and accolades.
