Anshu Bagai heads AMC India as Managing Director and is responsible for the overall functioning of Indian Operations. AMC has been successfully operating in India, with Bangalore as its headquarters and production centre since 1996. Anshu, with over 20 years of hands-on Marketing and Sales experience, aims to establish this unique category of premium cookware in the market. He plans to increase the market penetration and expand the sales force, which will help people lead a healthy lifestyle through AMC’s Zero Oil Cooking philosophy. An inspirational leader who spearheaded many successful projects in well-known companies, Anshu leads his team on revolutionizing the conventional cooking style in the Indian kitchen. As a promoter of healthy life, Anshu takes up the charge to take the message to every household. His previous assignments include a successful stint as Chief Marketing Officer of Tupperware. He was instrumental in making Tupperware an omnipresent brand in India. Anshu was responsible for designing and implementing strategic Marketing initiatives to drive the brand’s growth in the country. His groundbreaking approach in the direct selling industry made Tupperware a top-of-mind brand in the Kitchenware category. Prior to this he was part of Sodexho, where he was responsible for Marketing & Affiliations. He was instrumental in making Sodexho vouchers a widely recognized brand while building the Sodexho retail network across the country. Before Sodexho, Anshu was part of the start-up team at De Beers and was responsible for innovative Marketing and Sales programs, which positioned the brand at the top-of-league echelon in the highly competitive jewelry market. As a Brand Manager at De Beers, he launched ‘Nakshatra’ - the first brand in the jewelry industry. Anshu is a graduate in Electronics and Communications from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University and a MBA in Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai.
