Ms. Lijun SUN is Global Vice President, Head of Marketing for Visa Greater China. Prior to Visa, Ms. Sun worked for SAP as Global Vice President, CMO for Greater China and APJ. She worked for PWC Consulting and IBM as a strategy consultant and provided consulting services for China enterprises on strategy and digital transformation. Prior to that, she worked as a financial analyst at the head office of China Construction Bank. She initiated a few high-impact initiatives. One of them is the “Ding Ge Awards”- China Digital Transformation Pioneer Awards together with Harvard Business Review and Tsinghua University since 2018, which has become the most influential industry awards in the field of digital transformation. In 2019 and 2020, Ms. SUN designed and ran the Digital Transformation MBA course (with 2 credits) and Intelligent Finance MBA course (with 2 credits) at Tsinghua University. In 2017, She received the Ram Charan Award for Management Practice from the Harvard Business Review. In 2018, she was awarded the “Meritorious Figures” by the China Advertisers Ceremony Organizing Committee. In 2021, she was elected APJ 50 Most Influential and Purposeful Marketers. She had several publications in leading magazines on Data-Driven Marketing, Sports Marketing, Culture and Leadership. She has translated and published two books - Fundamentals of Accounting by professors at Stanford University and Advanced Analytics Methodology. She is a regular guest speaker at Tsinghua University’s School of Economics & Management and a career counselor at Tsinghua University. Ms. Sun graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting. She also holds an MBA from HEC Paris/London Business School. She is also a graduate of the CMO Executive Training Program at the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University.
