Based in Harare, Zimbabwe , Dennis is a seasoned Marketing and Communications Business Executive with over 20 years of progressive operational and leadership experience across diverse business sectors. He started his career with British American Tobacco as a Graduate Management Trainee and has developed his business and professional expertise in banking, telecommunications, manufacturing and agriculture sectors. He is an Adjunct Lecturer in Marketing related courses such as Strategic Brand Management, Marketing Research and Marketing Strategy. Prior to his current role, Dennis was the Head of Marketing, Products and Channels for Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe where he was responsible for marketing, digital channels, product development and bancassurance among other areas.
Dennis is the current Group Head of Marketing and Communications for FMBcapital Holdings plc. In this role Dennis drives the Marketing and Communications Agenda for the banking operations of the organisation across Africa where the group has presence. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), a holder of the Marketing Practitioner Status (MPS), Dennis graduated with Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Marketing, Master of Science in Marketing and a Master in Public Policy and Governance. Passionate about Digital Marketing, Dennis has done a number of courses offered by Red and Yellow in partnership with University of Stellenbosch. Dennis is a Board Member of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe.
