As a leader that has accumulated 12 years of Pan-African marketing experience across the media and financial services industry, I describe myself as a diplomatic visionary. My area of expertise range across strategic marketing management, planning and implementation; data driven initiatives and market research for both corporate and high-net-worth clients. Having spent most of my career in the Banking industry, I am a strong finance professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours Specialisation in Strategic Marketing accompanied by digital marketing qualifications. Prior to my present role at Absa within a VP Marketing Manager capacity, I worked at Standard Bank (Wealth and Corporate and Investment Banking divisions), ABN360 an affiliated company of CNBC Africa, Investec and Barloworld.
Some of my core experience to date include leading the development and launch of an African Wealth Report, where in-depth qualitative and quantitative research was conducted in key African markets with high-net worth individuals. This contributed largely to understanding client’s unique needs with regards to Wealth Management in Africa. Additionally, identifying Art in Africa as a strong medium to land key messages across communities, has been core to delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
