Bobby has over 15 years of experience in Consumer Banking spread across the Middle East and South Asia. He has exposure across key GCC, Levant and North African markets doing both in-country roles (KSA and UAE) and regional roles managing Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Bobby has cross-functional experience across all major areas of Consumer Banking including marketing, product management, product development, credit, sales, market research, retail, branding and corporate identity programs. He has led numerous product and brand launches in the Middle East and India. Examples include launching the region’s first online savings proposition (eSaver from HSBC), launching a new mortgage proposition in Jordan (HSBC), launching Personal Loans and Consumer Banking (ABN AMRO), and re-launching the Debit Card proposition and Sharia compliant Personal Finance at Saudi Investment Bank, etc. Bobby also has extensive experience in the development of E channels, especially with respect to digital marketing, social media, internet banking strategy, E propositions development, customer online journey design and transaction migration. He is currently working as the Head of Online Deposits & Cross Border Migration at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. He holds a Masters Degree in Management Studies with specialization in Marketing from one of India’s leading business schools.
